National Doughnut Week 2016

Celebrating its silver anniversary in 2016, National Doughnut Week started in 1991 and is an opportunity for people across the UK to raise funds for The Children’s Trust– the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury. The charity asks that you to make a donation to The Children’s Trust for each doughnut sold during National Doughnut Week.

Visit www.nationaldoughnutweek.org/ to find out where you can support the charity or learn more about the great work they are doing.

The website has details of bakeries involved in National Doughnut week but if you fancy making your own and raising money for a good cause why not see this recipe from Mr Paul Hollywood for inspiration.
