Brighton Festival.

This annual celebration of music, theatre, dance, circus, art, film, literature, debate, outdoor and family events was established in 1967 and is now one of Europe’s leading arts festivals. The 50th Brighton Festival takes place from 7th – 29th May 2016 – will feature world and UK premieres as well as international, national and local artists.

Museums at Night.

From 11th– 14th May museums and galleries across the United Kingdom will open their doors ‘after hours’. Special events will invite visitors to celebrate what is on offer in new and unique ways; giving the opportunity for guests to have a fresh look at the rich heritage and culture available.

Manchester Literature Festival Presents: Marlon James.

This rare opportunity to hear the author read and discuss his work is held at Home in Manchester on Friday 27th May. His book A Brief History of Seven Killings won the 2015 Man Booker Prize along with receiving many fantastic reviews.
